The Complete Concept Art of Batman v Superman
A curated guide to all the concept art from Batman v Superman (2016)
Batman v Superman is one of my favourite films, particularly because of its bold visual style. So it was really exciting to delve into the alternate designs done by incredibly talented concept artists.

Below I’ve collated every piece of concept art I could find to take you through the journey of this film’s design and visual language. I hope you enjoy.

Metropolis Visualisations
In the Snyderverse, Gotham and Metropolis are sister cities separated by the bay between them. Metropolis has a much sleeker, modern aesthetic, as usual.
Below are some visualisations of Metropolis’ cityscape by Christian Lorenz.

Alternate designs for the Superman statue
This is the statue that is graffitied "False God" later in the movie. These designs are uber futuristic and shiny compared to what we got.

A never-used concept for Batfleck's very own Batwing vehicle by Natividad. Would've been so cool!
